This training course teaches the fundamentals of ICAO Annex 14 and imparts the skills necessary for the analysis of aeronautical obstacle limitation surfaces.
Learning outcomes
Having completed the course, the student should be familiar with the current state of regulation concerning ICAO Annex 14 and be able to competently assess obstacles in the OLS for their impact on the operation of an aerodrome or runway.
Prerequisites
Attendees are expected to have a relevant aviation background and be conversant with PANS-OPS concepts and terminology.
The language of instruction is English. Attendees must be proficient at least to STANAG 6001 Level 3 or ICAO Level 4.
Method of instruction
In-person classroom instruction. Lectures followed by practical exercises and debrief.
