Introduction

On-the-job training is an effective way to develop employee skills and competencies while ensuring that they contribute to the organisation’s goals from the outset.

Concept

We send one instrument flight procedure designer in current practice, who is also an experienced instructor, to your offices to conduct on-the-job training with one of your employees.

Key features

  • Real-world experience: Trainees learn in the actual work environment, allowing them to apply their skills immediately and understand the context of their tasks.
  • Hands-on learning: Enabling employees to gain practical experience and develop competencies through direct involvement in their job functions.
  • Mentorship: We guide trainees, providing support, feedback, and insights that enhance the learning process.
  • Immediate application: Employees can apply what they learn right away, reinforcing their skills and knowledge through practice.
  • Tailored training: Our OJT programmes are customised to meet the specific needs of the organisation and the individual employee, focusing on relevant tasks and skills.

Benefits

  • Cost-effective: OJT can be less expensive than formal training programs to attain the same level of expertise.
  • Increased productivity: Employees become productive more quickly since they are learning while working, reducing downtime associated with traditional training methods.
  • Improved retention: Learning in a real-world context can enhance retention of information and skills, as employees see the direct relevance to their job.
  • Employee engagement: OJT can foster a sense of engagement and ownership among employees, as they are actively involved in their learning process.
  • Adaptability: OJT programmes can be quickly adapted to meet changing needs or new technologies, ensuring that employees are up-to-date with current best practices.
